On all 3 occasions, as we started to move forward to go into the room the staff member pulled someone from further back in the queue and placed them in front of us to walk in the room. The whole time in the queue the staff member would repeat that a guest would be picked at random. 3 times we queued and 3 times we were at front of the queue. A fabulous experience but prepare for utter heartbreak if your little wizard is not picked. And quite frankly some of the staff are beyond rude and disinterested.
The photo pass is insanely cumbersome, we have lost so many photos and it was not worth the money we paid. Was hugely disappointed to see Hagrids was not included with fastpass and had a 120 minute wait for this (at early entry!!)Įarly access for those staying in the hotels is just not worth anything….only some things are open and everyone is trying to get into Hagtid, we entered park at 4 minutes passed open and hagrid was 120 minute wait by time we got to it. These are incredibly useful to access quicker access to your favourite rides and ride favourites multiple time at significantly less wait time for SOME rides. We stayed at Hard Rock hotel so had very easy access to the park (5 minutes walk) we were able to walk in and out and of course that gave us the fastpasses. If you like Harry Potter (I’m a muggle lol) then Diagon Alley is just fabulous. So so much fun but definitely for later in day. popeye is an 100% dead cert of getting soaked. Absolute genius ride, has everything you could ever want. Youngest was finally tall enough and it was every bit as good as we remembered. Second time visiting and especially waiting to ride our favourite coaster Hulk. Insanely hot but plenty shade and opportunities to cool down.
